Since it’s been raining all month long, I can’t help but love all these rainbow looks! I love how rainbows are a universal symbol of luck, light, and positivity. Both boys and girls can rock the trend and bring that same energy to the classroom or to the family dinner table. Also the trend goes for adults too! Seen on the runway from fashion designers like Dolce & Gabbana, Missoni, and Burberry. Here’s some of my favorite rainbow clothing pieces for kids on Mini Dreamers! Also, here is me rocking the rainbow trend in rain, snow, or shine - xoxo Melody
This Lauren Moshi - Rainbow Love Sweatshirt and Rainbow Love Sweatpants are amazingly soft and a go-to for a girl all about her comfort. The grey makes it easy to pair with many other items and the rainbow, love, and heart graphics make it unique and super cute. Style with a heart print top underneath or a plain white tee - get as creative as you want! I love seeing the outfits you guys come out with, and really get inspired by all the fashionable moms I get to help out everyday.
Soft Gallery’s Rainbow Cardigan and Rainbow Sweatpants are another favorite of mine because of the cropped fit and soft pink coloring. This is a super cute and chic set that makes loungewear look sophisticated and put together. Style with sneakers and a sleek ponytail with scrunchie for an on-the-go easy look, or dress it up with a ruffled blouse underneath, ruffled socks, and pink or white flats for a classic girly look.
Make a statement with Lola and the Boys’ Dreamer Sequin Denim Jacket! I LOVE the “Dreamer” patched wording on the back, the small pompom accents, and the sequins rainbow. I wish they could make this jacket in an adult size for me (and add “mini” in front)! Denim jackets are the ultimate versatile staple and pair this with colorful prints and patterns would bring out the playful, loving vibe even more.
If you’re looking for a cool way a boy can rock rainbow, well this rocker tee is definitely it. Rowdy Sprout’s Pink Floyd Tshirt has a subtle touch of rainbow with other psychedelic graphics and shapes. I love the collage look and the faded coloring making it look actually vintage. Also the slight raw rips make this tee that much more cool. Style with faded jeans and vans, and your out the door ready to go!
Another great option is Rowdy Sprout’s Grateful Dead Tshirt. The ombre lettering and rich yellow, red, green, and blue colors are great ways to wear the rainbow trend but in an understated way. This is definitely for the edgy boy and would look great with black jeans or sweatpants and converse.
Rock Your Baby’s Popsicles Happy Face Tshirt is a playful interpretation of the trend. With rainbow popsicles as eyes and a smiley face with its tongue out, its playful graphic that is great to wear all spring/summer long. The navy shirt would be great with khakis, navy, or denim shorts. Pair with a Tiny Trucker Co hat and some slip-on shoes and he’s all set.
So Y Porque’s Flame Vest Hoodie and Flames Shorts are not exactly rainbow, but the flames are multi-colored so we’re going to count it ;) I love this set because not only is it super comfortable with the elastic waist shorts and breathable fabric, but it’s also versatile to wear in the cold or heat. Just layer with a long sleeve and boys leggings underneath and he’ll be sporting a super athletic style. He can also wear it as is and pair both items with many different options.
Get your preorder in for this boys Tiny Whales’ Rainbow Hat, featuring primary colors red, yellow, blue, and white. He can wear this everyday with any outfit and on your next beach trip. I really like the simplicity that makes it cool and on trend.
Bandy Button’s Rainbow Socks are another sock option, ultra soft and with three bright pastel stripes for a simplified rainbow accent. They have them in toddler sizes so your littlest ones can wear the trend too!
Little Kate Designs’ Lucky Rainbow Glitter Bow Clip is one of the many clips we have featuring the trend, whether you want full on rainbows, rainbow glitter, or rainbow ombre there are is definitely something there you will like. Style in buns, braids, or in pined back straight hair.
Lastly, here are super cuteTocoto Vintage’s Rainbow Socksfor a touch of the trend. The socks come in a soft creme color with neutral tones making the trend subtle and easy to pair with many items. I envision either with flats or cream hightop converse, why not try both?
There are so many ways to be on trend, and to match with your little ones too! Here I am accessorizing with a rainbow pin.
